This is a gallery of mostly acrylic 3 dimensional paintings with nature materials like bark, pine cones, branches and twigs, leaves, etc., applied to a stretched canvas with modeling paste and texture added and then painted over trying to capture the emotion of the subject or place. Some times I incorporate discarded items. Paintings are here that have a sculptured under structure so they appear to be emerging from the painting. I find it easier to be creative and express emotion with abstraction or combine realism with abstraction.
